I'm a new customer, what's this all about?

New customers: You are already in the right place at lawfriends.net. The migration process only affects existing members from our old site (lawfriendssociety.com), so you don’t need to take any action. We’ve upgraded to a more streamlined and efficient system to give you a smoother experience with faster access and automated certificates.

Will I lose access to my old account?

From the 4th November 2025 The legacy site will redirect to this migration information page only.
From Jan 1st 2026 it will direct to the new homepage. New & old training is delivered on lawfriends.net onwards. And all subscriptions are honored in full on the new system. Its simply a systems migration, otherwise you retain all access to the same content under your old subscription. When your subscription ends for the year, you will need to renew under the new payment terms.

How is my remaining time handled?

Send us an email at [email protected] using the email you signed up with, we will cross reference this with the legacy system and credit your new account within two working days and confirm by email.

Why can’t you move my billing automatically?

For security and GDPR compliance reasons you need to create a new account and enter your details again on lawfriends.net.

What if I am charged on the old site while moving?

If a double charge occurs during migration let us know. We will resolve it quickly and ensure you are not out of pocket. You will need to cancel any autorenewals setup on lawfriendssociety.com.
All autorenews on the old site are honored here in full as such we cannot offer refunds. We are not removing any content or access.

Do firms with multiple seats need to do anything different?

Yes. Law Friends now operates on a 1 person = 1 seat basis. Each lawyer needs their own login and seat so that:

CPD records and certificates are correctly assigned to individuals (SRA-compliant).
Usage is fair and consistent across the profession.
Every member of your team can access training securely.
