Law Friends Society (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides continuing professional development (CPD) training for legal professionals. We operate this website and deliver courses through Kajabi.

We are the data controller for personal data we process about you. Kajabi acts as our data processor and hosts the learning platform.

- Identity: name, job title, organisation, professional role

- Account and Learning: login details, course enrolments, progress, quiz results, certificates
- Payment: billing details and transaction metadata handled by payment providers. We do not store full card numbers

Kajabi is based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses, and require equivalent protections.

- Course records and certificates: typically 6 years for CPD evidence
- Account data: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after inactivity to manage queries and legal obligations
- Marketing data: kept until you opt out or withdraw consent
