The Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel, East London, is the founder venue of the Criminal Law Friends Society and as such is our spiritual home. It is steeped in criminal law history not only for the Kray Twins, but also for Max Campbell and Steve Kennedy, founder members of the CLFS. This drinks party brought key Solicitors and their teams to an informal quality venue where they could catch up and relax with their favourite Barristers buying the rounds.
