More about Greg

Greg is an associate in the Kingsley Napley Regulatory team. He is also a very experienced advocate from a criminal law background, who now deploys that expertise predominantly in regulation.

Greg accrued his 25 years advocacy experience as a leading “higher courts” solicitor advocate at every level from the Magistrates Court to the Court of Appeal. His caseload included successful defences in cases of homicide, violence, robbery, alleged sex offences, and those charged with offences arising from public protest.

He has vast experience of defending suspects detained at the police station, and still carries out that role for our criminal litigation team. He is a former President of the London Criminal courts Solicitors Association. Having acted for both the prosecution and defence throughout his career, Greg understands the impact regulatory proceedings have on the individual and the wider public. Greg regularly speaks at legal events, has contributed to or been quoted by newspapers and journals, and has contributed as a legal commentator on both radio and TV programmes.
