Eleri is a civil and public law practitioner, and specialises in Public law, human rights and civil liberties as well as actions against public authorities. Eleri is often instructed to act in judicial review claims. She regularly puts forward untested and complex points of law.

In this presentation, Eleri outlines key cases of judicial review (JR) that have taken place over the last year (between 2023 and 2024). These cases highlight conundrums in various instances. For example, it is questioned whether or not the High Court should have a discretion as to whether or not entertain the application for JR where there is an alternative remedy.
