CRIMINAL
Adam has an extensive practice focused on criminal, extradition and public law. Adam has a busy criminal practice appearing in the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts. His regular criminal practice has given him extensive exposure to new legal areas; a proving ground in which he has shown his ability to get to grips with difficult legal matters in a short space of time and communicate clear advice to his clients.
In this presentation, Adam presents a criminal law update, highlighting changes in a variety of areas of criminal law, revealing new offences an a number of new police protest-related powers. He then goes on to outline the new scales of costs for the Crown Prosecution Service that were introduced on the 1st May 2024, as well as new criminal procedure rules.
