George is an experienced expert extradition defence specialist, who is currently Head of Extradition at Church Court Chambers. He is experienced in an array of cases brought under the Extradition Act 2003 and has worked on cases involving extradition requests from a range of international jurisdictions.
This talk is intended to serve as a practical (albeit not exhaustive) “rough and ready guide” to those unfamiliar with extradition proceedings. The focus of the presentation is on Part 1 cases under the Extradition Act 2003. George outlines different stages of the process: from arrest and initial hearing to appeal, sharing some commonly argued issues.
