Dear Friends & Colleagues, following the roaring success of last year’s event, Law Friends is delighted to announce our second annual Police Station Reps Conference on Monday 26 October 2026, opening Law Friends CPD Week.
This full-day, 6-CPD course brings together the vastly experienced lawyers who make up the Law Friends police station team for a day brimming with practical knowledge and valuable learning.
Created by Police Station Lawyers, for Police Station Lawyers
Many delegates will recognise our speakers from the custody suites because our handpicked specialists remain in everyday practice at police stations and have collectively accrued thousands of interviews over the course of their careers.
This course is by police station lawyers, for police station lawyers, with a focus on the real problems, decisions and practical challenges representatives face every day.
Collectively, we are Law Friends.
Twenty Common Custody Suite Problems
We will begin with an interactive session examining twenty common problems in the custody suites and how best to navigate them.
Delegates will be invited in advance to submit their own inclusions for this session, allowing us to open the conference with a guided group discussion shaped by the real issues being encountered in practice.
A Full Day of Essential Police Station Training
Throughout the day, delegates can expect excellent sessions led by experienced practitioners with deep knowledge of police station work.
We are building the full course programme now, which will be released soon.
Come and Unite with Your Custody Suite Colleagues
This is the annual event for police station representatives to come together, share knowledge and strengthen practice across the profession.
Come and unite at conference with your custody suite colleagues and be part of a training day created specifically for those working at the police station.
